Ditheism - Why is Common Sense so Uncommon?

Ditheism is the unnatural belief in two opposite forces.
Viewing things as polar opposites creates lots of unintended consequences. one disadvantage of this way of thinking is that it obscures a person's ability to create valuable abstractions that lead to useful insights.
